Full time professor at Regional Center of Multidisciplinary Research, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Cuernavaca, Morelos. 1. Exploration of behavioral tendencies related to health, sports, work and school performance. 2. Emotional Stroop paradigm for applied behavioral research. 

3. Assessment of attitudes towards gender equality. 

4. Online Positive Psychology interventions to promote behavioral change.

Brief biography:

Education: Professor Rocio Hernandez-Pozo has a doctorate in General Experimental Psychology from the Department of Psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She had a postdoctoral stay at Auburn University in Alabama, USA in 1989.

Posts: Academic administrative appointments. She has been: a) Head of the Graduate Program in General Experimental Psychology, Department of Psychology at UNAM; b) Coordinator of the Master program in Psychology at UNAM; c) Director of Community Health and Social Welfare at the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico; d) Coordinator of the Research Network on Educational Psychology, RMIPE, at the National System of Research in Psychology; g) General Editor of the Mexican Journal of Behavior Analysis for three years; g) Co-editor of Latin American Journal of Behavioral Medicine for two years and h) currently Head of the research team Co-Educa.

Awards:

She received twice the Gabino Barreda Award from the National University of Mexico in 1988 and 1990 for her master and doctoral studies respectively. 

She received the 1992 National Award for Scientific Research in Social Sciences from the National Academy of Scientific Research. She also received the Aida Weiss award in 1994, in the area of  sociological and behavioral research in cancer, from the UNAM-PUIS.

She was admitted at the National Research System in 1987 and currently she is a national researcher level II. Since 2014 she is a regular member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences.
